Profiling leaders in Mablauwuni area pt 2



Emelia Sibanda

Emelia Sibanda, better known as Mai Sibanda, is 73 years old. She is married to Misheck Sibanda who is 77 years old and they live in Mablauwuni Community. They had 7 children but 4 have since passed on, leaving 3 that are alive.

Emelia went to Silozwe Primary School (many years ago) and she is one of the Community leaders. She oversees Silozwana village.

Emelia feels that in the last 5 years, the positive changes in the community has been the starting up of Ebenezer Training College as young people are now occupied and they are not going to South Africa. Another positive change that she has seen is people worshipping God differently as their lives have changed. The Church is impacting the community.

A desire that Mai Sibanda has for Mablauwuni community is to see people loving each other and to continue worshipping together.
