Kidz Alive Get-Together pt 1

Proverbs 22:6 "Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old, he will not depart from it."

Mark 9:36 - 37 "Then He put a little child among them. Taking the child in his arms, he said to them, "Anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf welcomes me, and anyone who welcomes me welcomes the Father who sent me'."

Approximately 80 children came to Crossroads Community Church yesterday (23.04.14) for a Kidz Alive Get-Together. It was excellent being together with children aged 3 years to 14 years. They praised God and 2 stories from Chronological Bible Stories (CBS) were shared -  Joseph and Nicodemus. The discussion time was excellent as the Kidz were able to answer the questions. We also had a time for the Kidz to recite scripture. That was totally impressive and lastly, we prayed for the Kidz.

Generally. they had a good time and we look forward to being together again on Sunday.

Honouring The Elderly pt 1

It was excellent when Stephen drove up to Victoria Falls with 2 of the elderly couples from Mablauwuni village who attend Crossroads Community Church. The couples were Mdala Sam and his wife Eva as well as Morris Ndlovu and his wife Letta. Letta Ndlovu heads up the children's work at Crossroads. It was the couples first time to visit Victoria Falls and a real pleasure for Steve and I to take them to see the actual Falls. The amount of water spilling over the falls 'blew' the elderly folk away. They couldn't wait to get back to Mablauwuni village and share their experience with other elderly people.
