A type of Distraction |
Distractions come in many forms from the use of technological devices through to different people trying to distract you. These distractions can be in the Church, in the workplace and even in the home. There may be a motive behind the distractions but whatever the case is, when you realise what the distractions are intended to do, you will rise above it.
God has a plan for our lives and distractions may put you 'off course' for a while, but it doesn't prevent God's destiny for your life. He knows your beginning, your middle and your end. In-fact, He knows everything - including the distractions. God knows the plans He has for your life. They are plans to give you a hope and a future.
Joseph, from the Bible, is an obvious choice of someone who had many distractions in his lifetime. Despite his setbacks. he reached the place and position that God intended for him. David encountered many 'distractions' from the time he was anointed to be the next King to the time he actually became King.
Peaceful moments |
For those of you who are being distracted intentionally or unintentionally, know that God has 'got you'. Keep your eyes on Him and not on the distractions. Fulfill the calling of God in your life. Let the peace of God rule your heart and mind.
Stay blessed.
