It has been a bit of a learning experience for us at the Crossroads site as the guys reared just over 2000 chickens. We've had about 190 mortalities which is not bad and despite some of the chickens being slightly underweight in weeks 3 and 4, they picked up weight in weeks 5 and 6!
1,670 chickens were collected from the Crossroads site yesterday and there were 19 additional mortalities. Some chickens were left at the site.
