Into 2015

After a six month sabbatical, Steve Manhanga, leader of Crossroads Community Church, shared a message called “I know who I am”.

Text: 1 Peter 2: 9 – 10 “ But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for His own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who called you  out of darkness into His marvelous light. Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.”

Pointers from the message:

We are a chosen generation

We are here and alive because God has a purpose and plan for us

We are the head and not the tail, above and not beneath

We need to live a life of victory

It’s important to know who we are

What we confess is important……How do we see ourselves?

We need to be all that God says we must be: we are a royal priesthood, a holy nation…..”greater things than these you shall do….” Said Jesus

We are sons and daughters of God

We are protected by God

Steve encouraged us to “walk in power, to walk in miracles and live a life of favour” because we have been chosen by God.
