From Victoria Falls which is North West of Zimbabwe to Chiredzi which is South East of Zimbabwe, Stephen and I have been enjoying our time together, the scenery around us and spending time with family. Some of our favourite spots at Victoria Falls apart from looking at the falls and getting drenched in the rain forest is the Victoria Falls Hotel and A Zambezi Lodges. They are just lovely.
Driving to Mutare, you pass Birchenough Bridge which is nice as it overlooks the Save River. The bridge was designed by Mr Ralph Freeman.
Chiredzi is well known for the production of sugar and sugarcane. The plant employs about 8000 people and is co-owned by Tongaat Hulett. One of my favourite spots in Chiredzi is the Nesbitt Arms - a smaller version of The Nesbitt Castle which is in Bulawayo.
Our trip is going real well.....
