The Chief Priests in the meantime made plans to kill Lazarus and Jesus. Jesus comes into town, does something amazing and the leaders of the day want to kill him. It’s our sinful nature.
When Jesus was crucified on the cross, he became our Passover. God allowed Jesus to go through all that. He allowed the circumstances to happen. God loves us so much that he gave Jesus for you and me. Jesus washes us in his blood – which removes sin and stain – and we become His child.
