The God of New Beginnings

In the Bible, there is a very powerful scripture which says: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new." 2 Cor 5:17

We recently preached at an event where every colour, creed and gender gathered together to ask God to bring hope to the region which has been devastated by death, destruction, violence and greed. All we have to do is ask. Jeremiah 33:3 says: "Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know."

God is the God of new beginnings.

I don't know what you're going through in your family, farming or business at the moment, but I do know who can give you a new beginning - Jesus Christ. "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths." Proverbs 3:5 - 6

As soon as we do things God's way, then we'll have a brand new start. It's when we persist in doing things our own way and then ask God to put his stamp of approval on it, that we'll find it doesn't work.
God won't be manipulated or dictated to by any of His creation. We need to do what he has told us to.
