A work team from the USA has arrived in Bulawayo and are staying with Lance and Elizabeth Edwards. The team is here for 10 days and comprises of 2 married couples, 3 males and 3 females. 4 members of the team have been to Zimbabwe before while 6 haven't. Their first impressions are:
1. Zimbabwe is nicer than they expected
2. Zimbabwe is more urbanised than expected.
3. Zimbabweans look happy and content.
The team will be fellowshipping at Crossroads next Sunday so they'll get a chance to see rural Zimbabwe.
The purpose of the team being here is:
1. To makes picnic benches and ordinary single benches for Crossroads.
2. Input into Ebenezer Training Centre.
3. Work with an organisation called Precious Life Foundation whose focus is on young teen mums.
We hope they have a good stay and enjoy their time in the country.
