More on Pastor Netha......

Pastor Nheta
It was interesting chatting to Pastor Netha last Saturday. Pastor Netha is the leader of New Life for All City Churches as well as being part of the Association of Evangelicals in Africa (AEA). The Association of Evangelicals has an opportunity to build dams in Matabeleland North and South. currently there are 11 dams in Matabeleland North and 13 dams in Matabeleland South. The majority have irrigation schemes. AEA in Matabeleland South spoke to the communities in Inkayi. The representatives that were at Shalom over the weekend had a desire to see what was being done at Ebenezer i.e. agriculture and poultry. There is the hope that these things can be replicated in rural areas. One strand is easy to break but 3 is not easily broken. Pastor Netha felt that there was a need to go back and be Trainer of Trainers to the old people in the communities on the usage of water, growing crops and how to maximise the land.

He has a hope that Matabeleland will be green instead of being a semi arid draught stricken area, with sandy soils. This "green" thought excites Pastor Netha.
